This painting was inspired by the rough waters off the north Cornish coast. Although it was a clear sunny day the waters were turbulent and sea spray was bouncing off the rocky shoreline, adding to the drama and energetic movement that I’ve tried to convey in this piece.

I haven’t used this canvas format before, and I really liked the broad base it provided.
