I spent much of May 2022 in Cornwall painting, and this resulted in several canvases that reflected the ruggedness of the beautiful north coast of West Penwith. This particular canvas was painted on location at Priest Cove, Cape Cornwall. The weather was glorious on that day with luminous blue skies and vibrant colours along the coastline. The changing colours of the sea and in the sky were spectacular and challenging.
