Another overcast day with the tide so far out it wasn’t discernible on the horizon. There were so many layers on the beach created by the changing light as the sun tried to make an appearance through the breaking cloud.

I find it so exciting coming to this place, as I never know what to expect and have to adjust my approach and allow the painting to evolve naturally over the day. Each day is different despite setting up in the same location.
